After seeing the Z8 at the auto show I have to agree this automobile looks like a Z3 on steroids. Long hood, short deck.... right out of the 60's school of design. Don't be fooled by the famous brand name or the constant referance to the 507.....this car is being produced primarily for BMW marketing hype. They don't care how many they sell, they just want to convince 5 series buyers that BMW is on the cutting edge of design and performance. James Bond or not, what is really high-tech about this car? Retro look ? M-5 engine and drivetrain ? The price only reflects the limited supply ....not price/value. The Z8 project has only one goal...... sell more sedans .
