...in what way are you referring to the 996 TT's performance? To me, I don't think the Z8 has a snowball's chance hell in matching the 996 TT in acceleration. Although I think the Z8 looks considerably better than the 996 (gawd...was the design team for the 993 TT involved with that freak of nature?), I seriously doubt it will match its performance. I think it's great that BMW is doing this, but I have serious doubts as to whether or not it is just a marketing ploy. For that money, I'd rather have a DB7. And yes, I'm kinda biased about the DB7. I think it's one of the most beautiful cars ever built.
