You would think so, but my SL600 had a plastic rear window, and considering that the SL and the Z8 are priced the same, don't be that surprised. I do know that the next SL will have glass, but for now Mercedes is still charging the exact same for the SL600 as they were over 8 years ago when the car was actually atractive.
