O.K.! Finally some honest comments. From a performace standpoint Z8 is not in same class as F360 or Porsche 996 Turbo. Z8 is more about style and design.This reto-look car is a BMW marketing symbol for helping the overall image and sales of the full product line. Serious performace buyers are not fooled by the hype. Reputations are earned on the track not in James Bond films! Now, that's not to say the Z8 won't appeal to those who are looking for a fast limited production sports car. As to price, that is for the market to decide. The average Porsche 996 convertible lists for about $90K. The Aston DB7 Volante sells for $150K, So, $130K for the Z8 seems about right.
