Buy a place in line.......Beware!!! (archive)

How can anyone pay a premium over MSRP prior to actual delivery? People who are trying to buy a place in line have no gurantee if and when they will receive the car.There is no actual delivery date. All the original buyer has is a place in line to buy the car when it is available. He can't guarantee a delivery date. The E-Bay auction terms on the Z8 specified the seller to receive payment at the time the order was transfered, NOT upon delivery. How do you get your money back if the dealer does not deliver for whatever reason ?
