I am certain that there are differing demand levels around the country. But the market in the US as a whole is setting prices above MSRP. I know for a fact that one Southern California DEALER has bought 3 Z8s from other BMW dealers 1@MSRP+$25K and 2@MSRP+$35K

What does that tell you about the market? If anyone believes at this point that they will get this car at MSRP, unless they have a binding agreement, better have pictures of their dealer performing strange acts.

My car has been built and should arrive next month. No I didn't get it at MSRP but the premium was small compared to what is going on now. I expect the prices to level off after the Silverster Stallones and Steve Jobs ($350K) have got theirs.
