When I ordered mine, I looked into it. Any BMW can be delivered in Europe and then returned to BMW for shipment. There is NO savings to be had however since it is, as stated before, through the dealer.

I thought it would be cool to drive the Z8 on the Autobaun first, but a March delivery would put the car on wet and icy roads. Not for me with that car.
