Mine was completed (code 155) on 3/10/00 The damn thing is still sitting there as of yesterday. It has not been shipped. It is now two weeks since completion. There is no delay in production, at least up to #34.

I understand that there are supposted to be extaordianry shipping measures with these cars and for all I know they have only a few special freighters who will carry the cars. It is all a bunch of speculation. I guess we'll just have to sit on our hands and wait until they are good and ready to ship.

: the first ones were supposed to be shipped late april early may (i have heard that might be delayed). As of 2 weeks ago there were 82 Z8s in BMW DCS 2000 computer system. Some were in the status waiting for production slots, some had started in production (production meaning body assembly and painting NOT final assembly which can be 2-3 weeks after body assembly starts).
