You don't have to be a professional driver to get the added advantage of a traditional manual transmission. You just have to know how to speedshift in the correct power range. Besides, in most Tiptronic systems or their variants, the gearing and final drive ratios are different also and thus detract from the potential 0-100kmh or 0-60mph figures.
It is in fact 0.7, but even then the Turbo is still at 4.9sec 0-60mph.
Besides, the loss of performance is only on the first feet from start. In all other situations it outperforms the manual quite stressless. Changing gears only takes 0.4 sec (which is only half the time a manual needs). There is no way you can even come close to that performance with a conventional gearbox.
