I ordered my Z8 7 months ago and my dealer INSISISTS there are no allocation numbers assigned, no VIN#'s, etc. I'm not expecting it before Sept. but I have no idea what # I am. When did you order yours? I also ordered a 911 turbo which is due in Sept. I was hoping to get the Z8 first to help decide which one I'd rather have. (If I get both, my wife will get to drive one...) Hope we both get them soon.

If you don't have a vin number then your car's probably a ways off (up to a year maybe). I have a vin# as well as monthly status as it moves through the factory. I am may delivery.
