F355 for sure? Not so sure, myself. My best friend has a Ferrari 348 and just got a Modena (an ugly yellow one) and although they are very, VERY quick cars, they suck for any daily use or around town driving.
I haven't driven the Z8 of course but I'm sure if it's made as well as any other BMW's it will eclipse a Ferrari's tin can feel.
"Just another BMW"? Oh yeah - I forgot they're all made out of aluminum. Hehe.

BTW, I hate the racing motorcycle whine a Ferrari makes...I prefer more of a deep growl. I must admit, though, that they are EXTREMELY fun to drive. =)
