None of these companies are "Major" car companies. BMW is the smallest of the Majors.

If you think about it you may be able to figure out why MB, BMW, & VW speed limit their cars.

While we are on the subject, Not all Porsches beat all BMWs or MBs. My M Roadster eats Boxters. It is 0.1 sec slower than a 911 to 60 at half the price. The Z8 will blow the doors off a 911, the New Porsche Turbo will beat the Z8. but you would want to risk your pink slip against Ferrari & Lamborghini?

IMHO the Z8 is a very unigue car that I look forward to owning. I can put my top down, while you are cooped up in side YOUR turbo.

I won't be passing my self very often either;-)
