Even if you just look at one magazine, each car they test is tested under different conditions, including:
* temperature
* altitude
* how many miles are on the car
* optional packages on the car (e.g. sports pkg)
* driver

So a 0.1 or even 0.5 sec difference is not enough to conclusively call one car faster than the other.
