Z8 on the boat (archive)

My dealer just informed me that my Z8 has left the port in Germany and is due to arrive at the port in NJ on July 2nd. He also heard that BMW is holding a number of the dealers first cars and will ship them from the US ports all at once (pobably mid July).I have heard other rumors that BMW plans to increase production. Can anyone confirm this?
