Saw 8 Z8s come in July 3rd @ NJ Port (archive)

As I am writing a piece for the e46fanatics.com site, I had made arrangements to visit the port in NJ to watch the offloading and processing or 'Salome' and 'Traviata' on July 3rd. BMWNA coordinated with Wallenius to get the ships in and offloaded before all the chaos of the OpSail and the fireworks gets in the way. (They no-doubt wanted all those cars safely away from it all.)

Both ships offloaded yesterday, and I was there shooting pictures of the whole process. If any of you are awaiting a Z8 that was on Salome, email me at the above address and I'll give you a copy of any picture I might have of your car.

I saw at least three silver ones, one red, and two blue. Didn't note what the others were, as I had to get over to the other ship for a scheduled appointment and tour.

BTW, the Z8s are getting x-tra x-tra x-tra special handling. They even went so far as to assign specific longshoremen for moving the cars. (They used two guys, each of whom has over 30 ys experience.) The Z8s were also brought to the 'head of the row' in all cases for direct oversite by the Field Superintendent.
