: Bob,
: My car has been completed and sitting at port for nearly 4 weeks. You seem to have a better contact than I do, could you please post when the east coast cars ship. Just curious, is your dealer giving you any trouble over price? My dealer is being a prick and chargin 15k over list even though I reserved and deposited almost 2 years ago. I am still going to buy it but I'll never buy a car from them again.
: thanks.

Sent a copy of your post to my attorney. You guys who had deals that are being changed have legal grounds for an injunction against the dealer based on the price at the time the deal was struck.
You can prevent the dealer from selling that car to anyone but to you at the prearranged price.
Logically those of us who can afford this car, should not be afraid to spend a few hundred dollars to have an attorney to get the dealer to honor the deal.
BMW NA also has a stake in this, because the products are ultimately backed by the manufacturer.
These speculators can only legally raise prices on new deals, not prior deals.
I am not an attorney, so check with yours because each case is unique, but don't feel that you have no recourse.
You can turn up the heat and make them honor the deal or tie up the sale of the car.
