I understood the problem was at speeds around 150mph (just under the speed limiter).

Would be right if it had been 240 km/h (=150mph), but 200km/h is only 125 mph. However, personally I would not accept either one or the other.
Maybe this is not so much an issue in the U.S., but a REAL BIG issue in Germany.
