Sure it is. Audi had the same issue with the TT and whoever in their infinite wisdom (and the Audi lawyer asleep at the wheel) initally decided NOT to retrofit the fixes to the US cars because the problem was at 120 mph (not sure the exact speed). Can you imagine the lawsuit if somebody in the US killed themselves because of that problem???

Shure I can, and those guys in their goddamned arrogance just waited and waited...

It would have been ugly (and the lawyer that let the no fix in US slip by would have been canned in a heartbeat).

Rrrright. I am so fed up with all this marketing talk from those so-called professionels and actually I'm really pissed since BMW did know about this problem.

Whatever BMW does to fix this in Germany they will have to do in the US. And like I said, I was told shipping has been delayed to retrofit spoilers. I could be wrong however. We will see.

A couple of weeks ago I had a discussion with BMW marketing. They tried to convince me that there would not be any changes to the car within the whole lifecycle. I just offered them to bet on that... vbg
And in fact, I cannot say to be completely unhappy about my delivery date next March.

cu, tg
