Can any of you who may have a Z8 comment on the following. The rear screen on my soft top is going white except for the border of about 1/2 inch which is perfectly clear.

Has any of you with a car had the hard top delivered with it?

And finally I have found that the interior Aluminum finished items are scratching badly from just being brushed with the seam of a pair of jeans for example(Aluminum insert on door handle on mine that my leg rests on when driving)

Also have a problem with pinking (Pinging or pre ignition in the US) if you blip the gas from idle...any ideas.

Pinking is not good for an engine over the long run and is almost always the result of poor quality fuel. Use the best, highest octane, fuel you can get for this car and avoid "lugging" it. Luging is when you shift too soon into a higher gear and put too much stress on the engine. Rev that engine up through the gear changes. I would avoid fuel additives since they often do more harm than good causing serious oil dilution in some cases. High compression, high power engines can often ping normally in round town driving. Remember a race car is happiest on a race track. If the pinging is quite loud and begins to sound like marbles in a can, a trip to the dealer is good advice, since the problem can sometimes be eliminated with a program change to the engine computer.
