In Europe they make up the price difference from the U.S. with gasoline (petrol) prices. I have 140,000 miles on my 850. In the U.S. that averages out to about 12,500 USDollars (at 14 mpg and avg. 1.25 per gallon--actually that is probably a little high). In Europe I would have paid a whopping 60,000 USDollars for that same amount of petrol/gasoline!!!
