Dependes on the your experience, in general bankers will make more than research, however, Z8 is right if you are REALLY good you are priceless (I think Ben Larelo's (SP) 3 year package had 9 figures but he by far the highest paid I've heard of)(STANDARD DISCLAIMER APPLIES I.E I AM NOT HIM AND HAVEN'T SEEN THE PACKAGE), its all relative but junior bankers will make more than junior research people.
