Thomas, just as a note, there have been numerous postings in many of the BMW boards regarding bringing a European model car to the U.S. Due to current regulations, they make it damn near impossible to do. First there are all the mechanical and electrical mods AFTER the car has sat in a warehouse for God knows how long while the tons of paperwork are being processed. I hear there is a way to do it more expiditiously(spelling?) by stating it is a show/collector car but then they don't even allow you to drive it by restricting the yearly mileage to some ridiculously low amount.
