My car has now had it's first service at 1500 miles (couldn't get me out of it so a bit late) nothing much to report. Interior trim marking badly, engine still pinking so now using 98 octane fuel only. Got torneau cover and wind deflector and hardtop stand ....but still no hardtop.

41 litres of oil (10-60 Castrol) and a filter, They also changed parts to do with the headlamp washer but only one side?

Now to liven things up...time to give it a good trashing to see how it goes.

P.S. On the way home from the dealer, had a good go against a Aston Martin DB7 Vantage. Left it for dead....slowed down just to see the driver's open mouth!! And it's got Miata door handles.

All this with a clear view of the sky. Life is great isn't it?

Now THAT heightens my anticipation! Thanks for the race ministory, and drive carefully.
