I've been driving the Z8, and I'm still a little unclear as to the function of the sport mode switch.

When I engage the sport mode at light throttle, the car seems to jump ahead. I expect sport mode to modify the suspension stiffness (does it??) but in the Z8 it also seems to modify throttle response.

Does anyone know whether it controls top power, or merely throttle tip-in, or am I just imagining this??

Sport mode makes the throttle respond sooner and steering quicker. It does not change the suspension whatsoever.
