most z8s seem to be either silver or black

most also seem to have the red interior.

IMHO here is how I rank the exterior colors:
black
silver (close 2nd)
blue
red

IMHO here is how I rank the interior colors:
red by a long shot
tan (but only for blue)
black

as far as resale the only color I would think would be any kind of problem would be the red.

one drive and you wont be thinking resale.
