AutoCar for example has the 996tt blowing the 360 away in every performance category (and even they liked the looks of the 996tt better than the 360 - go figure?) Top Gear liked the Ferrari sound and excitement but had the 996tt well ahead on performance. As far as which one looks dated in 10 years - I'm afraid the BMW retro look is already dated looking (the Z3 did not age well at all, IMO). OTOH, I think that the Z8 will be one of THE collectibles of all recent time simply because of the limited production number.
