Had a blast against a 360 (not convertable) last evening. On the first run I lost him....his excuse was that he missed 3rd gear...probably the same excuse I would have used! Awful gearbox.

On the second run it was neck and neck. He could not lose me, or out accelerate me, in fact it was obvious I could change gear faster than he could.

The 360 definately went round corners better, but my Z8 was faster out of them. At higher revs, the Z8 engine was still pulling after the ferrari was just noise.

I thought the 360 would absolutely slaughter the Z8. Not so it seems.

Further, talking of the looks dating issue, what is the comment on the Testarossa (84 on). Is that dated? I think so.

Also did the people who have made the comments about the Z8 take a good look at the quality of the Ferrari? I have put up with the Ferrari B*****T for 16 years. I haven't owned one yet that hasn't fell to bits.
