Apples and oranges...I think they're 3 very different cars serving different purposes for different tastes. Yes, they are about the same price with similar performance but that's where the similarites end.

I have the 996tt as a daily driver and most would agree it's the best of the 3 for everyday use. It's not perfect; I wish it sounded more like the 360! The Z8 is like a custom, retro, hand built semi-exotic that just happens to run and sound like the best of the American muscle cars only more refined (and quirky). I get lots of attention with people everywhere wanting to see it and asking lots of ?'s. I suspect it has the classic lines that will hold up over time. I'm on the waiting list (long) for the 360 (maybe 360 spider). I drove one for the first time last week all afternoon. Pure passion, noise (good), excitement and the closest feel to a street legal race car. I would'nt trade it for my Z8. Both are fun and incredible machines, each with ++ and --. I just feel extremely fortunate to be able to drive any of these fine automobiles and I don't think it is possible to really say one is any better than the other.
