Automobile Magazine just did a comparison of Z8 and 360 Spider. The conclusion was while the Z8 is nearly as fast it lacks the driving excitement of the 360 and a whole lot more. For the same money they would rather have an M5 AND a 323 conv. or better yet find another $35K and buy the Ferrari. Just recently I looked closely at the finish of the Z8. Fake plastic chrome exterior mirrors, plastic 507 side grills, shinny plastic dashboard facia, plastic door panels, hard to use controls, hard to read gauges, plastic rear window, semi-automatic top, mini GPS screen, weird convertible top, non- adjustable steering wheel....the list goes on. OK. maybe MSRP. of $130k. But to pay anything over list is crazy. NO WAY ON EARTH YOU CAN EVEN COMPARE A Z8 WITH MODENA.They are not in the same ballpark. Anyone who has bought or can buy a Z8 at MSRP. should sell it fast for a profit and run to the bank before the real world learns the Z8 is mostly hype.

They are both obviosly wonderful cars. One cannot even comment on the Z8 until they have had the opportunity to sit behind the wheel. All the statistics and data cannot describe the incredible feeling one gets in the cockpit of this automobile. It is a refined retro rocket with truly stunning inrerior details.I'm sure there are faster and better handling automobiles, but this car brings pure driving pleasure to anyone who appreciates fine automobiles.
