Tom
Sent you the following email with picture:
the Z8 boot is covered in leather, like damn near everything else in the car. It is attached to the car in four places, two plastic "tongues" or tabs about 3" that insert into slots in the front of the compartment that holds the folded top. The other two connections are just to the rear of the door jam (see the attached .jpg) and are push locks.

The structure of the cover is a canvas like material with rigid plastic panels that are covered in leather. The cover folds in three places, at each corner where it wraps around the roll hoops (see stitched seam in photo) and in the center. Folds up and fits in supplied storage bag. MUCH better system than the Z3/M Roadster

Does anyone have any pictures of the cover that you put on over the retracted top. If not does anyone have any info on it. What material is it made of, is it hard or soft. Is it easy to put on/take off. Does it stay in place.

I'm asking because I have a Honda S2000 and I have never been too happy with the cover provided by Honda. I would just like to know what is used in the high end Z8.

Thanks -- Tom
