Jesse is correct, the service problems and other hassels come back to roost at the time of sale. If you are going to own it forever, or drive it into the ground, not a big deal. If you are planning to trade it in 3 years from now for the next great super car, the resale value will not please you. US dealers ship any grey car they take in trade off shore, usually to MexicoBob
BUT, is the resale value on grey market cars worse?
I would not expect a significantly worse resale value on this car no matter if grey market or not. Besides, if - if - it was true that people pay 220k or more for it you save 100k, so who cares the slightest bit about resale value?
