LOL I suspect several things from your "anal retentive" comment:
1. you have never owned an expensive car
2. you don’t read BMW’s internal bulletins which advises the practice on “M” motors due to their high oil consumption, and
3. you can’t remember to post your email address because of your case of valley fever caught in the peat bogs of central CA.
