If you are interested in some nice aftermarket ideas you might have a look at Schnitzer, a very well reputated German company.
Unfortunately I was not yet able to find their page in english, but maybe you enjoy anyway. Follow the link and then click "Modellreihen" -> "BMW Z8".
I am going to ask them for an offer, especially a replacement of the ancient cell phone and the poor radio display. I also will get an unlimited top-speed and probably some changes regarding a better ground-effect.
