I found a solution to make the care more comfortable......
Halfords (UK car superstore) sell a seat overlay which has built-in padding and built-in massage units !! We bought one and now my partner finds the car much more comfortable. We also purchased a padded neck-roll which also helps. They cost £59.99 & £15.99 respectively. Well worth it.

We did 130 miles, stopped had dinner and then drove back on day 1 just to drive the car. We were estatic! I find the seat in the Z8 more comfortable than in most other cars- but the ride is a little harder- not complaining, just observing.
