I just bought a brand spanking new Aston DB7 V12 in favor of the Z8. Quite honestly, I felt that the Z8 was just a really grown up, powerful Z3, but it lacked the feeling of a true Gran Turismo car. It also didn't really feel like a gritty sports car. So I wasn't sure HOW I was supposed to think about it. The Aston has loads and loads of power, and the minute I sit in it, turn the key and hear the grumble of the V12, I know why I bought it vs. the Z8. I can't wait for my 10-hour drive to Northern Scotland...might even speed passed some Z8's on the way!
