I will be able to answer that question within 8 months when a friend gets his Z06. I would expect the Z06 to do quite well and perhaps even beat the Z8 in terms of pure performance. I would think that there isnt a tremendous overlap in the buying criteria for each car. The Z06 is a gutted car thats all about performance and nothing else. The Z8 is a drivers car but it is relatively comfortable and is more about "sprited crusing" than track performance.
