Sorry for the length, but it's an interesting read. The following is a copy of a letter sent to the owner of my local BMW dealership detailing my experience with them. The end result was: "screw you"!

I had a similar problem with my dealer, trying to get out of my buyer's order contract for my Z8. I had to hire a lawyer and threaten legal and criminal actions (the latter being unfair business practices thru a consumer protection agency of the state).

So I'm very understanding and would like to hear your experience.
