God, I hope not! I'd like to be able to afford one before I'm 50. Just for reference, remember that there were only 252 507's ever built over a 2-3 year period (vs about 5000 Z8's planned over 4 years). This was well before BMW took rust-proofing seriously. A Car and Driver article a few years back mentioned that many parts for the 507 have been NLA for decades. (Door handles, among other things, must now be custom-fabricated.) Regardless, I think you'll find it hard to part with your Z8 in 20 years.
