Dear Sir. Please understand when I made reference to Lambo or Ferrari, I was not speaking of supply and demand. Rather I was saying that for that amount of money I could get a much better value. As to your "holding" your Z8 for an increase in value, you may not have been around in 1988 when BMW M5's when selling over list. Then BMW tried something improper and lost a class action suit and had to give each original buyer about $2,500. Also, do you remember the 850 series? A lot of people cleaned up on those. Now to the main issue, I think you're confusing supply and demand with capitalism. I would like to have the blood supply and have you need some during surgery. There is such a thing as Moral Supply and Demand not to be confused with capitalism. I am not suggesting that those people who wish to speculate sholdn't be allowed to. If you lived in Russia, not exactly your ideal capitalist society, if you had money you could buy things. What has that got to do with capitalism? The fact is these are automobiles that BMW is building for the customers not for the speculators. And the fact that they are going to import many more to dilute the price is evidence they don't want to be a party to it.
