Congats. You mentioned no speed limiter, Are you having a new chip installed?

My dealer is going to deal with it ;-)
The part comes from AC Schnitzer and as far as I know does nothing but enables the car to go to the max, IOW it just disables the limiter.
It really seems not to be a big deal and afaik it is the same part they use for the M5:

"Ex works, the top model of the BMW E 39 range has a 250 km/h top speed limiter. To unblock this speed limit, AC Schnitzer provides a special Vmax module. The electronic release makes the M5 approx. 300 km/h fast."
