I have the same problem with the rear window of the soft top.

As to the phone- if the top is down- forget about it- its completely inadequate. If the top is up I find it to be "acceptable". I would prefer more volume, but I can make do with it as a "hands free" system.

Here are two intresting "issues" I have

1- am/fm reception is terrible (once I get away from any kind of metro area it fades out)

2- the metal vents are very beautiful; but be warned about running a lot of heat through them- they get hot enough to scald and maybe burn you. I sometimes would drive with the top down in cooler weather, and I would counter the outside weather with the heater on maximum. When I went to move the vent I discovered- it was pretty hot!
