Improving telephone volume in the Z8 (archive)

I spoke to BMW and they indicated that with so few Z8's out there, an individual request to address a problem with the car is hardly heard. But if they are giving a list of many owners who have the same problem, we will get attention. So I am asking people to provide to me their name, city and phone number and I will provide BMW with a list of Z8 owners who would all like the factory to find a way to increase the maximum volume on the telephone so one can use it while driving the car. Might be worth it if I include the purchase date and the VIN number if you have it available so our requests are deemed to have come from legitimate Z8 owners. The current maximum volume makes the phone nearly useless when driving. I will follow this up and let all know what happens.
