I want to add something to Z8 Bob's remarks.

What the Robb Report said when they named the Z8 their car of the year is that BMW makes its reputation and its money on building excellent sedans. The Z8 will neither make or break BMW. While we expect great sports cars from Ferrari and Porsche- thats what they do (although Porsche is going to make a suv!). The folks at BMW like to drive- and I think they made the Z8 as a limited edition enthusiast car for those enthusiasts lucky enough to get their hands on one.

What is all comes down to is that BMW didnt and doesnt have to make the Z8- the WANT to- and their desires show in this automobile. just my 2 cents.
