I have two minor problems with my new Z8. Anyone else see these?
1) The rear window on the soft top seems a little cloudy instead of being clear


As a Z3 owner, I've had this problem since I got my car in Feb of 1999. This is an unfortunate side-effect of having a plastic rear window. Don't quote me, but I'm guessing that the Z8 window is made of the same material as the Z3 window.

With my car, I use cleaning products from Meguiar's. Specifically, there are three products that you can use - their plastic cleaners #10, #17, and #18. I don't have it in front of me, but either #17 or #18 comes in a spray bottle, and it cleans the window quite nicely (use a SOFT towel to avoid scratching it, and DON'T PRESS TOO STRONGLY). The other two products are for deeper scratches - one's a prep, and the other's a polisher, I believe.

Hope this helps! If you do try these, test a small section of the window to make sure it's the right product or products.

My Z3's window returns to clarity after one application.
