This is great .....

Leave your Z8 outside on a very cold night with a hard-frost and guess-what ... ? You can't open the doors in the morning !!

To open the Z8 doors, it is necessary for the windows to drop-down 1 cm or so. Unfortunately if it's cold, like it occassionally can be in Britain, the windows freeze up and you can't open the f@@king doors !!!!!!!!!!!

Even using antifreeze to de-ice the window doesn't always do the trick and when it does, it takes a while to work.

It's a joke, last weekend, it took me 15 minutes to open the doors of my luxury top of the range BMW sports car.

The only solution that I can see is to have window heaters fitted to kick-in when the remote is used to unlock the doors.

The problem appears to be at the bottom of the window, at the rubber sill. If there is any condensation, it freezes solid in the cold.

Comments please (don't suggest I put the car in a nice warm garage)
