I agree with Z8Eldred. This is simply laziness. A car battery in good condition should be good for a lot more than one week. My Z8 has been in the garage for several 2 week periods since delivery, and in cold weather when the capacity of the battery is lowest, and I haven't had any problems.

I recently purchased a 2001 Z8. It currently has 175 miles on it. I went to start it the other day and the battery was dead. I called the dealer and was told that "this is a normal occurance for this car if you don't start or drive it regularly". I hadn't started it in about a week. They said that the computers on the car are a constant drain on the battery, They then sold me an auto shut-off charger. Has anyone else heard of or experienced this problem??
