cruise control malfunction (archive)

Here's the story: About two weeks ago I drove home. Turning right, the car accidently accelerated so I got pretty much scared that second. Afterwards, the cruise control did not work any more.
So yesterday I dropped the car to my dealer since I wanted to change from snows to regular tires and get rid of the hard top anyway.
Guess what - I did not get my car back since the problem is not solved yet. Now they are still working on it but did not find what's wrong with the �%$$%�$ cruise control. I just received a call and have been told if they will not be able fix the problem until tonight they'll get me another Z8.
Anyone else got that problem?
