Getting my Z8 in 3 weeks - any suggestions? (archive)

Hello all,

After months of waiting for the prices to come down on US Spec'd Z8's, I'm finally getting a 2001 Silver/Red combo that should be here in a few weeks. Can you give me advice as a new Z8 owner of things that I should be aware of, problems that might/will occur, driving advice, parking in public advice, etc? It might be good to compile a Top 10 Advice for New Z8 Owners somewhere! :-)

I own a 2000 M5 so I'm very excited to see what this engine can do in a smaller two-seater convertible.
