Thank you to all of you who responded to my earlier post about my layover in Munich for 10 hours.

After digesting all of your input, I've decided to forget about renting a car to speed along the no-speed sections of the autobahn, and instead decided to check out the sites in downtown Munich.

I'm going to check out the BMW Museum, as well as most of the other great suggestions.
