I have a 2000 M5 as my daily driver and my 2001 Z8 as my "fun" car that I only take out on sunny days :-)

The M5 is just absolutely amazing. There is no other car I'd rather have than the M5 as far as a sport sedan is concerned and even in Seattle stop-and-go traffic, I have no problems at all.

I owned a 2000 C4 Cab (which I traded in on the Z8) and I'd much rather have the M5 than the C4 911 any day. More punch, more power, better quality (this is all just my opinion BTW).
